About SCUD Day
SCUD Day is celebrated on July 8th every year across the globe.
SCUD stands for Savor the Comic, Unplug the Drama. In other words, it's a day to remind people of the benefits of spending more time in the Comic Zone and less in the Drama Zone.
It is observed to put aside any kind of drama that one faces in life and learn to live a life with peace, and laughter. It helps to promote mental as well as physical health by trying to reduce stress and focusing on the lighter aspects of life.
The day was created by Stephanie West Allen, a renowned author and lawyer, in 2007. Stephanie West Allen, Author, and Lawyer created SCUD Day in 2007. She is a part-owner of the SCUD Club which is a bi-weekly newsletter with support for and information about living and working with more humor and laughter by spending less time in the Drama zone.
So today, step back, relax and laugh; leave the drama and heartaches of life alone - for 24 hours at least.
