About International Corgi Day
International Corgi Day celebrates both corgi breeds AND corgi-mixes and brings people together through their love of long dogs with short legs to give to dogs in need.
3 reasons to love our holiday: International Corgi Day celebrates both corgi breeds AND corgi-mixes. Proceeds from their merchandise go to help corgis in need through a different corgi rescue every quarter. You get to celebrate your love for corgis AND do good at the same time by promoting the big day and/or purchasing a shirt or donating. 3 ways to celebrate this holiday: You can host an event with your local corgi group or just your friends. Pamper your vertically challenged pup. Take in all the pictures and posts with #InternationalCorgiDay, and so much more. The origin story: The four leaders of the Omaha Corgi Crew wanted a way to take fundraising and the love of corgis outside of their local area. So, they founded International Corgi Day to bring corgi-lovers across the world together to celebrate their dogs while giving back to other dogs in need - especially through lesser-known rescues.
