Why February 3rd? February 3rd was the birthday of Kristen’s golden retriever, Quincey. Sadly, in 2015 Kristen lost Quincey to cancer, he was just seven years old.
The breed has been in the top ten list of most popular dog breeds in the United States for decades, most recently at number three out of 195.
