About National Rosé Day
National Rosé Day has been observed since 2014 on the second Saturday in June.
Regardless of which day you pick, the main rule about Rosé day is to drink it before Labor Day.
Rosé is not a specific type of grape. It’s simply a genre of wine, along with reds and whites. While it’s produced similarly to other red wines, the time it ferments with grape skins is shorter, reducing the skin contact. That gives rosé its signature pink color.
