About National Opposite Day
Opposite Day is a game invented by children. Once an Opposite Day is declared, then all instructions mean the opposite.
The idea behind this day is to give parents a fighting chance to know the game is being played, and not be driven crazy when their children seem to do the exact opposite of what is being asked.
So don't declare an opposite day; don't get into the spirit of things and certainly don't have any confusing fun on this day!
The game has also been compared to a children's "philosophy course
