About International Day of Radiant Peace
The first annual International Day of Radiant Peace was created on June 22nd 1999 as a day for people to remember, celebrate and commemorate Radiant Peace wherever they are. It is now observed on September 22nd each year.
The first proclamation was created by David J. Fischer, Mayor of St. Petersburg, Florida. Through the years cities throughout the United States and in England, Italy, Ireland and Romania issued official documents proclaiming The International Day of Radiant Peace.
The Radiant Peace Foundation International, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit founded in 1986 based in St. Petersburg, Florida and is not political, religious or activist. Our mission is to inspire, encourage and promote Radiant Peace® and to serve as a centerpoint for Radiant Peace education worldwide. Every program of The Radiant Peace Foundation International gives people the opportunity to expand upon their innate capacity to recognize and celebrate the Radiant Peace that lies within all our hearts.
