About National Horse Protection Day
National Horse Protection Day also known as World Horse Day was founded in 2005 by Pet Lifestyle Expert, Animal Behaviorist, Horse Lover and Conservationist, Colleen Paige.
Colleen thrives off the special connection she has with domestic and wild animals alike. She founded this day in March of 2005 out of her love of horses from the years she spent with them as a child learning to ride and care for them. Her goal is to help educate the global horse community to the plight of horses in dire need of adoption...celebrate their magic and embrace humane horse sports worldwide.
